Publishing Party

We have been learning to write "true stories" about ourselves. After learning to draw with details, stretch words and write the sounds, and tell a whole story, we celebrated with a publishing party. The students each shared a piece of writing. They read the story aloud to the class and then enjoyed a small snack while walking around and listening to their peers read their stories.
