More Math

This week we learned about the many way that you can get the same "answer" or sum. To introduce this students took turns wearing a crown with the "answer" while the rest of the students wrote number sentences to help the student guess his or her number.

The students are writing number sentences with the "answer" 5. (5+0, 4+1, 2+3)
Next, the students continued to practice this skill independently. The students picked a number and used cups and cubes to find and write the many ways to make the number.
