We have been practicing many math skills in the afternoon during math work stations. Below are students hard at work during this time.
Liz and Maddox are practicing addition with "double war."
Emily and Jacob are using geometric shapes to compose "new" geometric shapes in a game called Fill the Hexagon. 
Cady is learning about shapes and addition with Shape Puzzles. 
Liz is practicing counting with one-to-one correspondence and number recognition with a game called Counting Dots. 
Rylee is practicing subtraction. She tells a number story where some bears "go into the cave." Then she writes her story as a number sentence.
