Adding Coins

To get ready for 1st grade we have been praticing coins recognition and started practicing adding coins. We have learned how to add several of the same coins, for example, 5 pennies or 3 nickels or 6 dimes. Then to make the skill more challenging we added two different coins, for example, 1 dime and 2 pennies. Below is a picture of Anna and Mateya adding the coins and recording their answers.
